FAQs

Investing in new software is a big decision and it's important to get all the information together to help you make the right one. We'll answer any questions you may have, but below are are some the most common ones that we get asked.

  • Each platform is configured to meet the requirements of your events. One size doesn’t fit all, so part of the onboarding is to configure the system to how you need it.

You also get your chosen domain for event pages, the admin interface, and emails. It means your branding and layout on event pages and emails. Admin users log in to your platform on your domain, they won’t find a hint of Mitingu anywhere.

  • Online, email, and phone support is provided. We also have an online knowledge base that all users can access with How Tos and FAQs. The online support system is a tracked and monitored ticketing system. Online support is available 24/7.

  • Yes, we can offer a monthly or annual subscription based on your required usage levels. We also have a pay as you go option where the price is determined by the event requirements. Monthly subscriptions start from £250 + VAT per month and annual subscriptions start from £2,500 + VAT per year.

Pay As You Go starts from £300 + VAT per event.

  • We take data security seriously. All data is encrypted in transit, at rest, and on back-ups. Mitingu's data centres are across two UK-based geographic locations, both are ISO27001 certified and PSS-DCI compliant.

  • Yes, we have an app called Greetdesk that allows check-in via search and click or by scanning a QR code. We can also offer facial recognition as a check-in option.

  • Yes. Do you have a site that requires a high level of customisation or management of the delegate booking and communications process?

It’s costed per project but we have worked with an umber of clients that prefer a managed service.

  • We can provide technical support staff onsite, but we don't provide general event staff. We know some great businesses that do and are happy to introduce you to them.

  • Yes, questions can be set to appear based on the registrant type or other demographics linked to the registrant.

  • Yes, the ticket template can be customised to reflect your branding and include QR codes if required.

  • This can be done via the registration options on the event site or by using a question on the registration form. Depending on how they answer the question on the form, only the relevant subsequent questions will be displayed.

If the incomplete registration has an email address collected there is a function to send out an email to incomplete registrants encouraging them to complete registration with a link that takes them to their saved, partially completed form.

  • Yes, we have email scheduling with built-in filters so personalised emails can be sent to different categories.

The event manager can choose which people on the waitlist they want to invite and send invitation emails from the platform to them. The event manager can also set a time limit for them to respond at which point the place once more becomes available.

  • Yes, there is a custom report builder that allows you to build event reports based on attendee status, demographics, allocated category tags, etc. Custom reports can be based on individuals or groups.

  • Mitingu has a session function with each session having its own allocation. Sessions can be restricted based on filters and can be hidden once they are fully booked.

  • We have an optional widget for hotel and flight booking and hire car which can be shown on the event site, thank you page, etc. We also have an accommodation function for pre-booked hotels and rooms which manages allocation with links to information on each hotel.
