Overview

Mitingu utilises some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. When accessing our site, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects your username and password as well as your data, using both server authentication and data encryption. This ensures that your data is safe, secure, and available only to you.

Users

Mitingu provides each user with a unique user name and password that must be entered each time a User logs on. Mitingu issues a session ‘cookie’ only to record encrypted authentication information for the duration of a specific session.

Hosting Environment

Mitingu is hosted in a secure server environment that uses firewalls with packet-inspection, virus guard and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. Moreover, Mitingu is hosted on dedicated servers, within a secure hosting environment (ISO27001 certified) with 24-hour CCTV and security.

Data is encrypted in transit, at rest and on backups.

Mitingu’s servers use RAID technology to minimise the risk of file loss. In addition, all data is backed up on a daily rotation.

Mitingu’s server centres are located in separate geographical locations in the UK with the following certification: PCI-DSS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ISO1450, BS5979, BS8418, BS EN 50132-7

Mitingu.com is PCI-DSS compliant and is tested quarterly by HackerGuardian.

Security Testing

We perform regular, documented security audits to help identify any issues which we can resolve. These include testing for vulnerabilities, out of date software, configuration issues, key and cipher algorithm choices and more.

Monitoring

Our servers and code are monitored 24/7 to guard against and remedy any security threats.
